Incomplete

strolling on the road
saw many things...
many a cars driving home...
some going nowhere...
some just wasting fuel...

now walking along the roadside path
saw a beautiful girl...
cute,coming towards me...
thought I knew her..
but I didn't...

met her again
cashed on...
was from my college..
from my city..
rewarding coincidence...

waited for her..
irregular in college...
still waited...
maybe....
woke up early 4 her

time ran...
waited with bated breath...
she came along in my bus...
was very happy
but shy..
met her for a few seconds..

something told me this was my day
so I went and chatted with her...
didn't take her number...
foolish me..
walked out...

somehow the bus
was caught in traffic..
said want ur number...
she smiled...
smiled and said later...

oh here I am...
waiting to meet her again..
maybe patience...
a virtue...
will reward me in time...

Ads I liked..

Normally I like all ads which are targetted at a youthful audience for example the Sania Mirza Sprite ad and the ad where a young family guy buys a Sony handycam and it is still as good as new when his son is getting married.. But there are still better ads which I continuosly like, it may not be a Tv commercial for example the AMUL ads where there is a bread and butter comment on any and every recent controversy.. such ads make my day!!

Now the current westernization due to the growth of malls in India and new and even small brands which have failed to gather a market abroad are coming to India and are fluorishing... Moreover there are countless brands coming over and advertising and I didn't know P&G owned both Head&Shoulders and Pantene, I really thought they were brands from rival companies...

But a recent ad caught my attention so much so that I love it every time I watch it. Its the ad where the Tea Authority of India wants to tell all the Indians that westernising isn't cool and drinking coffee will only make matters complex so rather drink tea and enjoy life... The ad tell you that two guys are discussing about the morning and complimenting on the weather and are not able to express their feeling in pretext of acting like the western people meaning- They drink Coffee. And on the contrary people who drink Tea enjoy their lives and hardly care about anything else, they meet ecstatically and then make fun of the other two guys who are trying to say ' Barmy morning, nice weather' and stuff...

Clear message... best ad...

School days......2....... future

I still remember how I would wail and cry because I didn't have the latest pen or the latest compass box and equipment.. It would be the new drawing class and each year I wanted new stuff, new crayons, new painting stuff... those days were so cool...

I remember how I used to ask for money to buy new cricket balls and how each day I would play with so many friends, some in class and some in my colony... each evening we used to have loads of fun...

I lived in Vashi, New Bombay and studied in Fr. Agnel's till Sr.KG.. then shifted to Boisar which is the connecting station to the Tarapur Atomic Power Plant the first in India and I was proud of that..Till 6th I was in Boisar.. then my dad changed his job and came to Roha on the way to Goa. A real cool place alongside Kundalika river.. most of my memories are of Roha and am still in touch with my school friends some of whom have come to Bombay to study as well.. We used to go swimming in the river, enjoy nature, go to water-falls and collect shells, play cricket in the vacations all day and play Chor-Police in the night... and to this very day all my friends remember my tactics to hide myself in the darkness and how difficult it used to be to catch me... Was just remebering how my parents always pressurised me to study well and do Engg. . a proffession I was irritated off... cause every mom wanted her son to be an engineer or doctor and somehow I couldn't digest playing it safe and doing what everyone did...

My sister got married when I was in 10th just before my final prelims.. and I was on the verge of deciding my career when I came to know that my Jiju was in merchant navy..
So i started inquring more about it and realised that maybe this was it.. yes maybe this was the way out which i have been looking for... so there I go and I take SCIENCE in KHALSA college to pursue a career in merchant navy after 10+2, but I also came to know more about other professions in the 2 years... like BMM and BMS and law, architecture and ofcourse IIT engg was special as it made me see different as normal engg....

2 years went by faster than I thought and I went to Chennai to seek admission in my Jiju's company.. by now the largets company in the world A.P Moller Maresk... yup a mighty rich and a company which wanted attitude and extra something from its employees... and I failed the entrance.. I actually failed my first ever interview...

Came back on 13th June I think and was left nowhere due to my huge blunder in 12th... I still don't know why I got so less... maybe I took things pretty easily..

Came to know through a friend 1 day before the last day for applying for BMM that only Xaviers and SIES were left who were conducting their entrances late and decided I had much more chance of getting BMM in SIES than Xaviers(obviously) and got through..

Point is... never decided my life... everything just kept happening... If not BMM would have been doing B.Sc in Khalsa... but I know... god has written many other surprises in my life.. so now wanaa relax and let go of the steering wheel... the road will guide me home...

Malamaal Weekly

Paresh Rawal, Om Puri, Asrani, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Shakti Kapoor etc... No, I'm not listing the character line-up for you, instead I'm telling you how they were queued and dragged up behind Sudha Chandran's old side three wheeler equipped Bullet bike. Clearly the most hillarious scene in the movie the flick was aimed at the multiplexes and was a total time-pass one. Priyadarshan once again rocked the place but was again repititive in chalking out the climax and somehow Ram Gopal Verma and Priyadarshan are just not making the movies seem different.

The flick has Paresh Rawal realising that someone in his village has won the lottery of One crore rupees and so he collects back the tickets... but Anthony the one who wins the lottery in the villagae dies out of happiness.. and then the scramble for money starts making matters complex as in every other Priyadarshan flick. Rajpal Yadav at usual at his best and Paresh Rawal carry the movie with ease and the story is strong enough to keep the crowd interested till the credits whoosh by.
In all a flick with a bit of everything and even an item song for the interested. A must movie if you are checking it out in the vacations. Keep laughing.

Vacations!

Yea, the exams are gone and the vacations are here.. but lots of people are trying for internships and everybody will have to work hard in these vacations but still yaar, its a new experience and its fun.
I had decided will write about my exams only after the papers end. So here it is,the papers were nice and were as I had expected them to be but the marketing paper and the psychology paper were not practical at all! marketing had total bookish approach with no case studies. same was the case with psychology.. I had expected better... anyways I will score real low because I have more practical knowledge on the 4 P's and it might not work...
In short all papers were ok and now expecting to work in any company and gain some first-hand experience. Basically wanna earn some pocket money!!

Went for a movie today-BROKEBACK MOUNTAINS with friends and had fun..(except for the movie).
I thought comments from my friend sitting besides me were 10 times better than the dialogues in the flick... The only thing I liked about the movie was thousands of sheep walking along the brokeback mountains...fantabulous. The locations were super. The movie though is a big NO-NO!!

then also went around hunting for a gaming CD and we realised capaholic was fishing for caps in the end rather than SOCCER 06. Saw nice girls and foreigners and kept walking along deeper into VT and saw some amazing antiques and really good bazaars (apparently for girls) along the way.. really throw away prices..thats super kewl in my book..

HAPPY SHOPPING AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Riots in Navi-Mumbai!

oh.. how much I had waited for something like this to happen near me... something huge that comes in the news and shows the power of Navi-Mumbai.. but not this way

Apparently on Holi two groups clashed in Ghansoli on some issue(ain't clear yet thanks to rumours) and their fight erupted into a real big one after Holi celebrations and the angry mob burnt tow tankers and a couple of cars also pelting stones on the police.
The police surrounded from all sides by an angry mob of around 5000 people(ain't exaggerating-its true) had to fire in the air and also at some people who got really close to them.

So now the Agri grp and the Mathadi grp both belonging to the NCP have fought so badly that they have destroyed property worth lakhs!
the situation is still not under control and has spread to many areas including Nerul, CBD Belapur and Panvel. Vashi being the hub of business and mainly Navi-Mumbai's main financial area is under attack too.
I had thought this would be fun but when i saw the stuff they did to a bus and police station in Nerul i just realised the potential threat in the hands of these politicians...
and as this was a big oppurtunity to overturn a popular government in Vashi and nearby areas the politicians jumped in encouraging the crowds.

Now the situation has gotten out of control and all the markets are closed down. the last oppurtunity and the most effective in this situation a curfew is due and I hope evrything gets back to normal by Monday!

U have no idea how terrifying it is... It ain't as someone suggested to me today..
It's not a game where u go out on the road and play Kabaddi with the mob... its serious..

guys this is why India is well..ummm err.. India!

pray for a truce really fast!

Why America signed the Nuclear deal...

Bush wanted a holiday so he chalks out a big strategy...

a triple threat plan...

  • nail the Indians on the mat by getting their nuclear info
  • get some problems from other countries like PAK,AUS, etc.
  • Get a nice vacation

So how does he go about it?

Remember, he has to convince America's congress that he's doing the right thing by managing a Nuclear deal with the country which is very influential ont he economy of the US.

So he arrives in India and the talks start, Indians take it as a golden oppurtunity to advance in terms of nuclear programmes and use more of nuclear energy in near future. India are aware that this also means they have to separate the Defence nuclear programmes and the commercial nuclear programmes by 2010.

America think that if India start using nuclear fuel then,

India have to buy expensive fuel from Australia, Aus have 40% of the nuclear fuel in the world.

India will definitely relieve some pressure on the ongoing fuel demand, where the demand is more than the supply and the prices are going to soar to 70$ per barrel.

India will evoke jealousy from Pakistan(who are already jealous wid Dhoni's hairstlye).

So America get a peep into India's nuclear resources and they get a lifetime free vacation for Jr.G.W.Bush.

Dedicated to the politicians..

  • NO(absolutely NO) comments are required from anonymous people on this article...
  • nerds might refer to the RED herring prospectus...
  • let us start now

apparently saw Rang de basanti again...you might be wondering that exams are a day away and this dude is watching movies dhan-a-dhan..dhan...dhan.. wateva'. the sole reason is that the movie is stored on my comp and I keep listening to the songs wid the videos to keep myself busy(obviously when am studying). its 1 in the morning and i think i ain't gonna study pol science now. so as i've already watched the movie 6 times this time i actually noticed some flaws..yea had time to notice them..not big bloopers though...hota hai..bolywood mein...

  • if the guy is bearing the brunt of SIMON coming to AMRITSAR why is HE still there?
  • the guy here is the firangee girl's father' father(behen di takki)
  • if he is in delhi chasing Chandrashekhar Azad what is he doing post Jalianwala Bagh?
  • if the guy is in amritsar how is he torturing the people in jail?
  • when the hindu muslim guys get ripped off by a grenade why doesn't the wooden door shatter?
  • if the wooden door doesn't shatter how do nails and sharpenels pierce them?
  • the girl(behen di takki) makes a documentary..uska kya? she settles in india.. documentary humko dikhayegi kya?
  • as in we've already seen MANGAL PANDEY sister!! we've had enough!!
  • thats it i think! pretty good concept though.. movie HIT hai boss...
  • hope it inspires some politicians to resign(in ur dreams!!)

apparently BUSH decided that he wanted to get pampered.. so he came to India signed a deal that would benfit him more than us.. has made AUSSIES think abt givin us URANIUM at unbelievable prices(unbelievable=exhorbitant). and left.

then he decides he needs more pampers..ooops pampering.. so he goes to PAK...

as usual MUSH licks BUSH...

thats about it!

god bless u

and ya.. what are u waiting for?the red herring prospectus ain't here u NERD!!

Life as it is...why?

Why does the world go round?
Why do we have to go work?
Why doesn't the sky touch the ground?

Why do we have to do as they say?
Why do we have to behave as they do?
Why can't we have our own say?

Why does the sun shine?
Why does the cock whine?
Why-o-Why can't we turn back time?

If u answer
these crazy works of Life...
you will realize
LIFE as it is....
